hey guys.. it has been a long time since i have blogged. Alot of up and downs in my life has been happening for this past 2 months. I have not updated because i had my exams and college events going on and also i had an issue about my template on blog spot. anyways, my 2nd semester has ended on 2nd of April with my lab practicals exam and my internal exams ended on the 1st of april. The marks for the semester practicals are not out but the internal marks are all out already. now i am having my study break for 2 weeks. semester exams will be starting on the 16th, 18th, 20th and 21st of April. after that i would be having my semester break for 2 months. i can wait to have so much of fun during the holidays.
Let me just brief you people on what has been happening around. The 5 pictures you are seeing was taken from my hostel. They conducted hostel day 09 last month to celebrate for the yrs they have been operating since the year they started. The events listed was mini skits performed by the students, musicians who played songs for about 5hours, then there were group dancing and solo dancers and also singing competitions. the whole event started at 6pm and stopped at 7pm due to bad weather and it was raining really heavily. They continued the event at 9pm up to 4am the next day. Since it was the final years last day to be in the hostel.

Teenage Disney star Miley Cyrus has defended a photo in which she is making a slant-eyed gesture, claiming she was "simply making a goofy face".

The leaked shot of the 16-year-old singer and actress was taken with a group of friends, one of whom is Asian.

The Organisation of Chinese Americans criticised Cyrus for setting "a terrible example for her young fans".

But in a blog entry she said: "In no way was I making fun of any ethnicity. I was simply making a goofy face."

'Bad girl'

Cyrus said she was sorry if people "looked at those pictures and took them wrong and out of context", but stopped short of apologizing.

The star of the Disney channel's hit show Hannah Montana accused the media of blowing the photo out of proportion.

She said: "It seems someone is trying to make something out of nothing to me. If that would have been anyone else, it would have been overlooked.

"I definitely feel like the press is trying to make me out as the new 'bad girl'!"

Cyrus, who has recorded two chart topping pop albums and was nominated for a Golden Globe for the title track to the animated movie Bolt, is estimated to have earned $25m (£17m) in 2008.

She added: "I feel like now that Britney [Spears] is back on top of her game again, they need someone to pick on. Lucky me!"

In 2008, several shots of Cyrus sparked outrage in the US as they showed the then 15-year-old wrapped in a sheet with a bare back and shoulders.

I will never forget my friends no matter how long we don’t get to see each other and met up. We were the first batch of students in that school. I just realise while I was surfing the web this morning, that there are still people celebrating valentines day. You must be thinking why when it's over already right..?? Well, in other countries, they are one day behind us, so for them, today is Valentines Day.

Preparing for the first date

* When setting up a first date, spend no more then 5minutes on the phone.
* Guys should make the initial call.
* Early evenings are a great time for dates because mornings remind us of work / school and lunch is too informal.
* The best place to meet up for a first date is public places. Do not go to the movies.
* A first date should never be a coffee date. Try a nice restaurant or take a walk and have a chat. * When dressing for a first date, dress casual but nice
* Make sure your hair and your appearance in neat
* And most importantly, be on TIME!!!

On this day was Malaysia Valentines Day. This is the day that many people will go out and buy flowers, chocolate, gifts or bring their dates or loved ones to restaurant or a dinner treat. To be honest, I have asked many of my friends and other people what they did for Valentines Day. The result is that, many of them said that there were single or didn’t get to go out and also just broke up recently. What a sad year for Valentines Day. But no worries... On this day, we also celebrate singles date as they would not need a date or a partner as they can go on their own and celebrate. The only thing is that, when you go to any restaurant, they would ask you "Would you like to try the Valentines menu" and you would go NOOO!!! because you are suppose to be happy on this day as you are single.

For my birthday, I actually didn’t plan anything because my sis and bro was not in the country :( and my dad will be coming back from Australia at 11 o'clock. That’s why I didn’t plan anything. Oh well, there is this saying "there is always a next time". When is that next time... hmmm... let's see... IT'S LIKE NEXT YEAR!!! Haiyo... For my birthday, my uncle paid for everything today... Thank you!!! My uncle brought me to The Mall Located at Jalan Putra, across the road from the Pan Pacific Hotel and the Putra World Trade Centre. The mall was not that crowded as I guess many of them took their families and their loved ones to restaurants or maybe to Midvalley or somewhere else. Anyways, we went there to buy a phone for me but eventually there was nothing nice and also the modals that I wanted, they said that is it old modals and they don't produce it anymore.

Oh well, so it looks like I didn't get my dream phones...sigh... For lunch, we went to secret recipe. I ordered for something unique because near my place, secret recipe didn't have this on their menu. Well, I forgot to write down the name of the dish, but let me describe it to you. It was a boneless chicken with cheese sauce stuffed outside the chicken and it was fried. It was very nice. You got to try it... =) and my drink was frosty watermelon. My mum asked me what cake i wanted from secret recipe and i wanted it to be something different. So I bought the brownies walnut. Here is a sample of the cake from secret recipe's website

Instead of buying a cake, I bought brownies. Not one piece lar... It was a whole brownie (the whole thing). They called it 8 pieces, 12 pieces and 16 pieces and I bought the 8 pieces. It was not 8 pieces..Dont get me wrong.. Its just a name for it. The shape of the cake is rectangular. After buying that, we went to visit my uncle’s brother in the hospital in cheras. He was admitted because he had to go for a scan for his gastric pain. After that, before leaving the hospital, he said that his family will be coming to visit him in the hospital and he had told them to drop by my house to cut the cake. It was so nice of him because I had no one to cut my cake with except my mum and my maid. They came to my house at 8.15pm. The best part was that, when they were about to sing, my uncle’s brother (mention above) called on the phone. He was right on time :) So, it was on loud speaker and he sang also through the phone..hehe.. Towards end of the day, it turned out to be a nice celebration after all.
