I just realise while I was surfing the web this morning, that there are still people celebrating valentines day. You must be thinking why when it's over already right..?? Well, in other countries, they are one day behind us, so for them, today is Valentines Day.

On this day was Malaysia Valentines Day. This is the day that many people will go out and buy flowers, chocolate, gifts or bring their dates or loved ones to restaurant or a dinner treat. To be honest, I have asked many of my friends and other people what they did for Valentines Day. The result is that, many of them said that there were single or didn’t get to go out and also just broke up recently. What a sad year for Valentines Day. But no worries... On this day, we also celebrate singles date as they would not need a date or a partner as they can go on their own and celebrate. The only thing is that, when you go to any restaurant, they would ask you "Would you like to try the Valentines menu" and you would go NOOO!!! because you are suppose to be happy on this day as you are single.

For my birthday, I actually didn’t plan anything because my sis and bro was not in the country :( and my dad will be coming back from Australia at 11 o'clock. That’s why I didn’t plan anything. Oh well, there is this saying "there is always a next time". When is that next time... hmmm... let's see... IT'S LIKE NEXT YEAR!!! Haiyo... For my birthday, my uncle paid for everything today... Thank you!!! My uncle brought me to The Mall Located at Jalan Putra, across the road from the Pan Pacific Hotel and the Putra World Trade Centre. The mall was not that crowded as I guess many of them took their families and their loved ones to restaurants or maybe to Midvalley or somewhere else. Anyways, we went there to buy a phone for me but eventually there was nothing nice and also the modals that I wanted, they said that is it old modals and they don't produce it anymore.

Oh well, so it looks like I didn't get my dream phones...sigh... For lunch, we went to secret recipe. I ordered for something unique because near my place, secret recipe didn't have this on their menu. Well, I forgot to write down the name of the dish, but let me describe it to you. It was a boneless chicken with cheese sauce stuffed outside the chicken and it was fried. It was very nice. You got to try it... =) and my drink was frosty watermelon. My mum asked me what cake i wanted from secret recipe and i wanted it to be something different. So I bought the brownies walnut. Here is a sample of the cake from secret recipe's website
Instead of buying a cake, I bought brownies. Not one piece lar... It was a whole brownie (the whole thing). They called it 8 pieces, 12 pieces and 16 pieces and I bought the 8 pieces. It was not 8 pieces..Dont get me wrong.. Its just a name for it. The shape of the cake is rectangular. After buying that, we went to visit my uncle’s brother in the hospital in cheras. He was admitted because he had to go for a scan for his gastric pain. After that, before leaving the hospital, he said that his family will be coming to visit him in the hospital and he had told them to drop by my house to cut the cake. It was so nice of him because I had no one to cut my cake with except my mum and my maid. They came to my house at 8.15pm. The best part was that, when they were about to sing, my uncle’s brother (mention above) called on the phone. He was right on time :) So, it was on loud speaker and he sang also through the phone..hehe.. Towards end of the day, it turned out to be a nice celebration after all.
